"SLICK" Concept

(White Suit + Rainbow Blade)
"Slick" is a concept that came to me during hypnagogia. Going through many ideations, an agent, vigilante, hero, rogue, but the main vision is a rainbow blade wielding white suit. Here, the idea of a japanese mafia kingpin was explored.
I designed him with the theme of being slick, cunning, and sharp. Slick style, Cunning Attitude, Sharp Edges!

Early ideas, and elements were toned down for this design. It was decided to turn him into a mafia boss who took over the criminal empire with a potential backstory leaning to the original ideas.

It was fun to play around with symbolism for this design. The Blade's harness going across his chest can symbolize the hold of it on his life. The holographic snake skin shoe being about shedding off his past self and beliefs and into someone more cunning, and intimidating. While the white suit exhibits how awesome he looks
